The Intertransformation of Yin & Yang | Insight on Traditional Chinese Medicine

There is a tree within the seed. And the seed is present within the tree. Once we realize there is no separation from the potential and the manifestation. We will deem ourselves worthy of all that we desire.

Yin and Yang are the dual aspects of all existence in the universe. From night and day, hot and cold, masculine and feminine, light and dark, sun and moon to our emotions, body structure and even the energy movement in the body. We interact with these aspects in every moment.

The Yin Yang Theory Explained

This is a foundational theory in ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine, which states in the Classical Book, the Nei Jing. “Yin and Yang are the law of heaven and earth, the great framework of everything, the parents to change, the root and beginning of life and death.”

All matter in the universe abides by the Yin/Yang theory to cultivate balance and harmony in all. When we experience heightened emotions, high-highs and low lows, we internally feel out of balance. Our minds may tell us we want to be happy, when in actually we are seeking harmony with the Self. Just like there is cyclic movement with our emotions, all of life moves in cycles with varying degrees of outward manifestation.

The cycles of Yin and Yang have 5 key element:

  1. The Opposition of yin & Yang
  2. The Interdependence of yin and yang
  3. The mutual consumption of yin and yang
  4. The inter-transformation of yin and yang
  5. The infinite divisibility of yin and yang

As we observe natural order, we become aware of each of these five elements in our daily lives. In this episode, I will share some spiritual insight I received on element #4 the Inter-transformation of Yin & Yang.

Birth transforms into Death, Night transforms into Day, Winter transforms into Spring, this inherent dynamic process is witnessed by every being on planet. Whichever stage of existence you are in ALWAYS will transform. This potentiality of transformation is a universal law.

Human behavior specialist Dr. John Demartini quotes “A master lives in the world of transformation, not the world of loss and gain.”

The quality of our lives is directly dependent on our perception of conditions. Transformation serves as a bridge between conditions. We are brought to the crossroads of defining transformation. In quantum physics, we learn that transformation is simply energy converting form from one to another.

In Chinese medicine, There are two conditions needed for transformation : Capacity and Time

The Capacity to Transform

Let’s bring back the observation of the seed and the tree. The seed contains the capacity to become a tree. While the tree contains the capacity to sew a seed.

Capacity is linked to potential that is nourished. In this dynamic process of transformation, capacity is realized in two phases. Internally first then Externally second. This shows us that in order to embark on true change, there must be an internal intention, idea or vision for the capacity to transform.

The Seed contains the DNA blueprint to grow into the tree. Just as you contains the idea blueprint, the vision or sacred intention to embark on a new path.. whether it’s starting a new business, learning a new skill, taking a leap into a relationship and even with something simple like your breakfast.

Your intention is powerful, it’s quite literally transformational. But it must be nourished every day just as the seed is watered and enjoys the sun each day… your intention requires your ATTENTION.

Revitalize your new intentions with a Reiki Healing session that balances your energy, raises your frequency and clears stagnant energy within your auric body! All so you can step into your era of Transformation - book a session with me here.

The Process of Transformation

The second condition needed in the transformation process is TIME. As author Emily Maroutian said, “Divine timing is the belief that everything happens in its own perfect time. It’s the space where we realize that control is an illusion.”

When we try to control the outcome instead of the input, we live in a state of resistance. This Yin Yang element states the time factor of transformation ONLY occurs when the time is RIPE.

There is a time for everything. The orange ripens at its own unique time space. The leaf withers and grows on its own divine timing. The tide rolls on its own rhythm.

When we focus on our own transformation a key ingredient is patience. Patience is acceptance in the natural flow of the universe. The essence of Yin/Yang which has shown us that there is the seed of transformation in all things.

In order to transform, we must intend and accept. May this powerful, natural law encourage you to honor your process. It’s unique to your essence. All happens when the time is “ripe.”

🪬Peace… Sai
